Year 1 Trip Kenyon Hall Farm.
Class: Class 3 (Year 1) Year: 2021 - 2022
The children had a fantastic time and enjoyed all the activities, which included a tractor ride and seed sowing.
The children and staff learned about how Farmer Tod prepares his fields by ploughing and cultivating; how the seeds are sown and which crops are planted in his 500 acres of fields. Most importantly, the children learned what each plant needs to grow and survive.
The children enjoyed hearing about the unusual fruits grown on the farm: Tayberries and Chuckleberries.
The children's behaviour was outstanding and the staff were thrilled to have been a part of their first-ever school trip!
Thank you to parent helpers who supported us on the day.
