Road Safety Week

This week, the children have taken part in Road Safety Assemblies for KS1 and KS2, as part of our annual Road Safety Week. This year, the theme is Step up for Safe Streets. The children have been discussing how to keep safe near roads and the following message was shared in the assemblies:

• Find a safe place to cross.
• Stop just before the kerb.
• Look and listen for traffic.
• Be patient, let traffic pass.
• Walk across when it is clear, don't run.

Please discuss this message with your children to keep them safe when they are out in the local area.
