Reception Chinese Workshop

Class: Class 1 (Reception) Year: 2019-2020

On Monday, Classes 1 and 2 enjoyed a visit from Chantelle from Education Group. They had lots of fun taking part in a Chinese dragon dance and a plate painting workshop. The children learnt about Chinese New Year celebrations and how to say ‘Happy New Year’ in Chinese. They also learnt that 2020 is the ‘year of the rat’.

At the end of the day, the children performed their fantastic dance to the children in Years 1 and 2. Well done Reception classes. Thank you to the Friends for contributing to funding this workshop.
